Connection comes first.

Everything else follows.

We help people change the way they show up
so they can build real connection —
and from there create clarity, momentum and action.

Behavioural communication training rooted in theatre, improvisation and narrative.
Designed for a world where holding attention is essential, and communication is the catalyst that drives transformation.

THE CHALLENGE WE SOLVE

It’s not about finding the right words.

It’s about shaping what you say so the focus stays on the people listening.
In critical interactions: presentations, conversations, in front of the media, most people feel the same pressure:

Are they with me?
Am I losing them?
Is this landing?

Attention turns inward.
We start managing and connecting with ourselves instead of relating to the people in front of us.

We focus on our words.
Our performance.
Our ideas and frustrations.

And without realising it,
the spotlight moves off the audience — and connection slips away.

The problem isn’t information.
And it isn’t preparation.

It’s that communication becomes self-focused instead of audience-centred
and content and behaviour stop working together.

Why this matters

Connection strengthens when the focus shifts outward.

When people shape what they say with the audience in mind — the way we do instinctively in everyday life — communication becomes easier, lighter and more effective.

  • attention is easier to hold
  • pressure drops
  • thinking clears
  • presence becomes natural
  • engagement becomes mutual, not forced

Good structure puts the spotlight on the people listening.

That’s when communication lands.
That’s when impact happens.

This is why we work with connection at the beginning, in the middle, and under pressure.

What we do

We help people communicate in ways that build connection first —

so clarity, alignment and action can follow.**

When the focus stays on the audience, communication can:

  • hold attention without force
  • create trust quickly
  • turn complexity into clarity
  • help people see what matters
  • move conversations toward alignment
  • motivate commitment and action

Our approach is experiential, physical and narrative-driven.
It transforms communication from something people deliver
into something that changes what happens in the room —
and what happens next.

How we work

Creating connection through small, practical shifts that change everything.

Connection isn’t built through theory alone.
It’s built through how someone stands, looks, listens, frames and responds in real time.

That’s where we work.

Our sessions are practical, experiential and highly focused.
People practise real conversations and presentations, receive clear feedback, adjust — and try again.

We help participants:

  • notice how they’re being experienced
  • make small behavioural shifts that change connection immediately
  • shape content so the spotlight stays on the audience
  • use simple narrative structures to guide attention and understanding
  • apply tools directly to their own meetings, presentations and challenges

Change doesn’t come from knowing more.
It comes from doing something different — and feeling the difference straight away.

That’s why the impact sticks.

What Makes Our Approach Work

A theatrical lens on communication.

We approach communication through a theatrical perspective —
not to make people act,
but to help them see themselves more clearly.

Theatre creates distance.
Distance creates perspective.
And perspective makes change easier.

In theatre, the world is a stage.
We all play roles.
And when the role no longer fits for the people in front of us,
connection breaks down.

Our work draws on two core toolkits.

Behaviour

from Theatre

Theatre shows us how small shifts in behaviour create completely different responses.

We help people explore how:

Shape connection moment by moment.
By learning to flex behaviour consciously,
people can create different outcomes —
without changing who they are.

Storytelling

from Stage and Screen

Stories don’t decorate communication.
They structure it.

From stage and screen, we take narrative principles that:

Participants learn to apply these templates
to their own content, data and strategy —
so the story forms around the audience, not the speaker.

The Result

A way of communicating that feels:

  • grounded
  • intentional
  • connected
  • clear
  • engaging
  • and actionable

Not because people perform —

but because the spotlight stays where it belongs:
on the people they’re speaking to.

Why This Matters Now

AI handles knowledge.
Systems handle process.
But people handle change and drive action.

And change doesn’t move through information alone.
It moves when people feel connected: understood, included and able to see themselves in what’s being said.

Action gains momentum when communication creates:

  • certainty
  • clarity
  • simplicity
  • relatability
  • alignment
  • direction
  • momentum

These qualities don’t come from tools or systems.

They come from presence, behaviour and narrative working together —
in service of the audience.

This is the work we do.

Testimonials

What Change Looks Like

Presenting and Storytelling:

“I have been to a number of presentation trainings before and none was as impactful as yours. For me personally it was a „life changing” experience – I had my first big presentation yesterday and I felt like never before – owned the space, controlled the mood, even better structured. I felt great in and after the presentation.”

Partner big 4.

“This training has extended my tool-kit to tailor my messages in a presentation or meeting to the needs and agenda of the audience as well as to more consciously use gestures and tonality to underline them. It offers very good practice opportunities. The methods can be applied for a presentation in a board meeting, a pitch, a workshop as well as for team meetings. It was impressive to notice how small advice/ changes helped improve already good presentations even further. “

  Senior Partner big 4.

Influencing and behavioural skills:

“Big thanks for the superb training and sharing with us the tools on communication.

I am glad to attend this session as it is one of the best and most enjoyable courses I have been on. It’s FUN, very useful and very practical at the same time.”

Senior Manager Global FMCG

had a lovely time at the training. I can’t wait to implement what I’ve learned into my work (and personal) life.”

Alexis Latham

Creator of Latham Flow

I was trained as an actor and continue to work professionally in theatre and film.
Over the years, I’ve created my own theatre company and developed original theatre and film work — environments where attention, presence and connection are not optional, but essential.

Alongside this creative work, I founded Lathamflow.

What I’ve learned — both on stage and in organisations — is simple:

In live communication, behaviour is the strongest tool anyone has.

How you stand, how you listen, how you frame a moment, how you respond under pressure — these are the things that determine whether connection is created or lost, whether clarity emerges or confusion takes hold, whether people move or stall.

Over the last 20 years, I’ve distilled practical, bite-sized techniques from theatre, improvisation and storytelling — tools that are easy to apply and turn so-called soft skills into conscious, repeatable behavioural techniques.

The result is a toolkit that helps people prepare for real situations, adapt in the moment, and communicate with presence, clarity and intention.

Because every important conversation is a moment of theatre —

and when you understand how it works,

you don’t need to perform.

You just need to show up.
